The Mannford Animal Clinic is thrilled to announce the addition of a new veterinarian to our staff, Dr. Alisa Boomer. Dr. Boomer is originally from California, but has lived in 
Oklahoma for about 15 years now. Dr. Boomer and her husband, Dustin, are 2018 graduates of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys practicing small animal medicine exclusively, while her husband is interested in mixed animal practice. Dr. Boomer’s professional interests include surgery, behavior studies, and disaster management. She is also Fear-Free certified (certification program for managing and reducing the stress in anxious pets)!
Outside the office, Dr. Boomer enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons going fishing and ganging up on Dustin during family game nights. In her spare time, Dr. Boomer is quite the bookworm, paints (which usually ends up somewhere on her face), and practices yoga. They have 5 pets! Their dogs are Shredder and Pepper and their cats are Whitey, Blackie, and Ravyn.
